We start with the Player of the Year for 1A, Caden Clairhan from Brown Guy Radio teams, who led the state in home runs. Moving to 2A, Lance Lutens from Mediapolis Bulldogs stands out with his remarkable pitching and hitting stats. Brock Thuleen also receives an honorable mention for his impressive batting average and power hitting.
In 3A, Tegan Hoekstra from the Appellate Dutch is highlighted for his stellar performance, followed by Cole Kindred with notable home runs and slugging percentage.
Our playoff performers include Isaac Bruns for his timely hits and defensive plays, and Owen Hassel for his clutch hitting and defense. Several players receive Gold Glove awards for their exceptional fielding, including Eli McKinney, Lucas Fatt, Tano Waterhouse, and many more.
We also recognize the future stars with our Freshman and Eighth Grade standouts, featuring Blake Davis, Blaine Baker, and Chase Clairhan. Coaches are not left out, with awards going to Drayton Levine of West Burlington Falcons and Lee Crawford of Sigourney Savages.
As the season concludes, we reflect on the incredible performances and look forward to the upcoming football season. Thanks to all players, coaches, and fans for an unforgettable high school baseball season!
