New Beginnings for Lone Tree Lions: Coach Chaney's Vision

Today's episode of Round Guy Radio is brought to you by Partners for Profit, who handle all the fundraising for the schools. We are excited to introduce Coach Jonathan Chaney, the new basketball coach for the Lone Tree Lions. Coach Chaney, formerly of the Columbus Wildcats, shares his journey to Lone Tree and his vision for the team.

According to Scotty Melvin and Jeff Mills, the Lone Tree team was the most improved last year, especially on offense. Coach Chaney discusses how the opportunity at Lone Tree opened up and why it’s a perfect fit for him. Despite losing a key player, the team remains scrappy and determined, with strong guard play and potential in their shooting game.

Coach Chaney highlights the supportive community and administration at Lone Tree, which he describes as a smaller but close-knit school district. He is eager to build on the school's rich basketball history and capitalize on the buzz generated by the successful girls' team.

With plans for summer leagues and workouts already in motion, Coach Chaney aims to improve the team's rebounding and maintain a fast-paced, outside-shooting game. He believes that with strong leadership from players like Emmett Burke, the team can be competitive in their conference.

Join us as we dive into Coach Chaney's strategies and aspirations for the Lone Tree Lions. It’s an exciting time for Lone Tree basketball, and we can't wait to hear the Lions roar this season!
